l'aigle royal

let me whisper the words
too loud to fall lightly on even the deafest
(however)
dearest of ears
drops of wisdom falling like rain on your skin
soft smooth ivory could never contain the light what comes from within
deftly fingers fly over each square inch where it stretches on a mile
if i could walk each jutting reaching mountain and sunken valley of your bones
i'd be lost in love in the wilderness of so many thousand strands of babyfine fibers of your being
your soul
seeing some sense of completion
a whole borne of a hole
an anomaly the chaos of space
i sit dreaming of woes beyond my control
yet i need not hold on too tightly and won't ever let go
